Sangstream - Gigs
Sangstream is kept busy with invitations to perform at community events, song festivals and more formal performances. Over the past few years we have sung at the Coldstream, Arran and Killin Folk Festivals, at St Giles, the French Institute in Edinburgh, at the Museum of Scotland, Corstorphine Fair, and as part of Edinburgh's story telling festival. If you would like us to sing at your event, please contact us.

We were delighted to work with four professional musicians to stage the first performance with a choir of some wonderful arrangements of well-known Scots songs. These arrangements were from "Women's Voices" published in 1998 by Eddie McGuire, and the musicians were: Helen Duncan (cello), Sharleen Clapperton (violin), Paul Jourdan (violin) and Catherine Jourdan (viola). They came together specially for this event.
We would like to thank Awards For All for a Heritage Lottery Fund grant which enabled us to engage the musicians to rehearse and perform with us.
